Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions.
• Lead Design for Excellence initiatives to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards, tooling recommendations, and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and review work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Determine root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process FMEA, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience, including industrial manufacturing experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for day-to-day problem-solving.
• Ability to work in clean-room environments and use required personal protective equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a reputable institution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex or sensitive information and build consensus.
