Senior Contracting Specialist (TS/SCI)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $80,000–$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and credentials.

What you will do

• Provide procurement methods, processes, and tools that improve cost, schedule, and performance efficiency.
• Advise government customers on contract strategy, planning, PWS development, CLIN structure, evaluation criteria, policy, regulations, and statutes.
• Develop and maintain contract documentation, including briefs, training packages, SOPs, policy updates, guidebooks, acquisition plans, and source-selection plans.
• Support acquisition planning, market research, solicitation, source selection, contract administration, and issue resolution.
• Develop and analyze contract metrics, including planning data, obligations, expenditures, and deliverables.
• Maintain conformed contracts and manage exhibits, appendices, award-fee payments, security requirements, and contract modifications.

Requirements

• 10 years of demonstrated experience with DoD program-management contracting processes across the full lifecycle, from initial planning through sustainment.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS-cleared experience is sought for the role.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• Experience with DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, SECNAVINST 5000.2, and other DoD 5000-series acquisition policies.
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, NMCARS, procurement requirements, contract strategies, cost and price analysis, and all phases of contract administration.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with strong communication and customer-service skills.
