R&D System Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Design multidisciplinary systems combining optics, lasers, motion systems, vacuum, high voltage, control, signal and image processing, algorithms, and software.
• Define and validate system flows and technical requirements.
• Conduct complex experiments to guide next-generation system solutions.
• Troubleshoot and solve a broad range of complex system problems.
• Collaborate across disciplines while working independently and contributing technical leadership.

Requirements

• BSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering with 5+ years of multidisciplinary systems R&D experience, or a higher degree with relevant experience.
• Strong background in electro-optics, control theory, or signal and image processing.
• Solid knowledge of data analysis and signal or image processing using Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and complex-system comprehension skills.
• Excellent collaboration and independent-working abilities, plus leadership skills.
• Strong written and spoken English is required. Familiarity with AI tools is expected.
