Clinical Lab Associate I (Genetic Testing)

Location: San Carlos, California, United States; work may require various shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Base pay: $28–$32 USD.

What you will do

• Analyze patient samples according to standard operating procedures with high accuracy.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, troubleshoot common errors, and escalate malfunctions.
• Recognize, document, and escalate protocol deviations to laboratory leads or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with good laboratory practice.
• Communicate with laboratory teammates and other departments while supporting daily schedules and tasks.
• Handle protected health information in paper and electronic formats and complete required compliance training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological science or a similar field.
• 0–2 years of industry-related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, computer, data-management, and pipetting skills.
• Ability to visually discern color or evaluate cellular morphology when applicable, including passing the relevant screening assessment.
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
