Senior IT Project Manager (Ticketing and Unified Commerce)

Location: Sydney, Australia, at Taronga Zoo; flexible hybrid work with in-office, remote, and on-the-go arrangements

Salary: AUD 151,138–166,549 annual package, including base salary of AUD 133,348–146,945, superannuation, and leave loading

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a ticketing transformation and attractions visitor commerce platform.
• Manage scope, benefits, quality, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints across an integrated program.
• Align business, technology, and operational requirements into a single enterprise solution.
• Lead procurement, vendor selection, contracting, governance, assurance, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, executives, sponsors, and the Business User Champion.
• Manage change, operational readiness, adoption, requirements documentation, testing coordination, defect triage, and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading transformational IT projects in complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, and project governance frameworks.
• Experience with business analysis, enterprise architecture, organisational change, and adoption methodologies such as PROSCI ADKAR.
• Strong strategic alignment, business partnering, stakeholder management, prioritisation, and continuous improvement skills.
• Current NSW manual driver’s licence, or the ability to have an existing licence formally recognised, maintained at the candidate’s own expense.
