Senior Manager, Investigations

Location: Fully remote, with employment currently available in certain countries; stated salary benchmarks are provided for the United States, United Kingdom, and Kenya. Requires at least 3 hours of overlap with an East Africa timezone and meaningful overlap with US Eastern hours. Occasional, unpredictable travel may be required for team meetings, co-locations, or investigations in countries of operation. Visa sponsorship or transfer of employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for the US and UK.

Base salary: $114,660 in the United States, £77,600 in the United Kingdom, or $83,820 in Kenya, plus a 10% target bonus. Country-specific benchmarks apply elsewhere where employment is available.

What you will do

• Establish and operationalize a Central Intake and Investigations Hub across the organization.
• Lead the most complex workplace misconduct investigations from terms of reference through findings and recommendations.
• Set investigation standards and quality-assure work led by Internal Audit, Safeguarding, and other teams.
• Create a central system of record, manage reporting and calibration, and identify organizational risk patterns.
• Shape case-management controls and use automation and AI to improve triage, documentation, and reporting.
• Recruit, manage, and develop the hub’s Program Manager roles.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience leading workplace misconduct investigations, including senior-staff and sexual-misconduct matters.
• Experience setting investigation standards, quality-assuring others’ work, and working alongside employee-relations functions.
• Experience working across multiple countries and legal contexts.
• Trauma-informed and survivor-centred practice for interviews, disclosures, and support.
• Experience improving investigative systems, reporting from case data, or introducing technology and AI while protecting confidentiality.
• Professional fluency in English and professional working proficiency in French, Swahili, or Portuguese are required.
