What you will do
- Act as the senior HR Business Partner for Innovative Medicine Italy, advising the Managing Director, Italian Leadership Team, and people leaders.
- Translate business priorities into people, organisation, capability, and workforce plans.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, leadership development, and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Drive organisational reviews, restructuring, role design, performance management, and workforce transitions.
- Lead culture, engagement, change, employee relations, works council, trade-union, disciplinary, and sensitive employee matters.
- Partner with EMEA HR, Centres of Excellence, Global Services, Legal, and OneHR Italy to improve HR processes through digitisation, automation, and AI.
Requirements
- 8+ years of HR Business Partner or HR leadership experience in a complex, matrixed, and regulated organisation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life-sciences organisations with knowledge of the Italian market.
- Strong knowledge of Italian employment legislation, collective bargaining, employee relations, and organisational change.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required.
- Experience with talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, transformation, and workforce analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, communication, execution, and prioritisation skills.
