Maintenance Technician

Location: New York, NY; onsite

Salary: $34.87 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, janitorial equipment, and vehicle or golf cart systems.
• Perform routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance on floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, and related machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
• Maintain clean work areas, maintenance logs, and service schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate technical issues professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Work safely in industrial environments and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a company environment or equivalent training in plumbing, painting, HVAC, construction, or a related field.
• At least two years of electrical experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and work with equipment in an industrial environment.
• Completion of required safety, environmental, task training, and certifications.
• A valid driver's license, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, and forklift or electric pallet jack certification may be required based on business needs.
