Field Linehaul Support Rep (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Kernersville, North Carolina, United States

Pay: $20.35–$31.73 per hour

What you will do

• Dispatch transportation equipment according to linehaul plans, schedules, and company procedures.
• Dispatch cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events in the transportation management system and verify equipment locations through yard inventories.
• Complete yard checks, verify trailer load and unload status, and report missing equipment.
• Investigate schedule delays, accidents, and equipment failures, implementing contingency plans for on-time delivery.
• Compile operational reports, review trailer load condition reports, and support management audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Dispatch experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of linehaul field operations, transportation practices, and DOT regulations.
• Time management, organization, multitasking, communication, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and follow safety initiatives.
