Senior Forward Deployed Analyst (Cyber Operations)

Location: On-site in Chantilly, Virginia, with the role serving the Fort Meade area. U.S. citizenship is required; an active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph is required.

Base salary: $137,000–$203,000 annually. Estimated total compensation: $149,000–$240,000, including target bonus and estimated equity value.

What you will do

• Conduct DNEA and Exploitation Analyst cyber operations, including cyber intelligence analysis and exploitation activities.
• Perform network analysis, persona development, and threat actor attribution using traditional and AI-enhanced graph database systems.
• Act as the primary cyber operations and intelligence analysis SME for engineering and government customer teams.
• Translate operational workflows and customer needs into technical requirements and development priorities.
• Validate user interfaces and workflows with cyber operators and create training materials and documentation.
• Lead customer engagements, technical demonstrations, and collaboration on emerging capability gaps.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in cyber operations and intelligence analysis within U.S. Government military or intelligence organizations.
• Expert knowledge of DNEA and Exploitation Analyst methodologies and tools, with experience across defensive and offensive missions.
• Experience with multi-domain intelligence analysis, including cyber, SIGINT, GEOINT, and HUMINT, as well as network analysis, persona development, and threat attribution.
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, exploitation techniques, cyber attack methodologies, graph-based analysis, and AI/ML applications.
• Leadership, mentoring, operational planning, senior-level briefing, and technical communication experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or a related field, or equivalent operational experience; active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph and U.S. citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security, IoT protocols, WiFi exploitation, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and data visualization.
• Experience transitioning from operational roles to product development or requirements engineering.
• Government acquisition, requirements development, training, doctrine development, defense contractor, or public-private partnership experience.
• Advanced degrees, relevant certifications, publications, or presentations in cyber operations or intelligence analysis.
