Automotive C++ Engineer

Location: Remote from any city in Germany; hybrid work options may be available from an applicable office.

What you will do

• Develop real-time visualization of ADAS sensor data and HD lane-level navigation for the hirify.global Navigation SDK.
• Build simulation tools for driving scenarios and sensor data playback.
• Write clean, high-performance C++ code integrating data inputs for automotive navigation products.
• Implement rendering and navigation features across platforms and technology stacks.
• Profile and debug customer platforms to improve automotive navigation performance.
• Work with customers, partners, and internal teams on requirements, integrations, API design, and hardware-specific performance tuning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with modern and embedded C++.
• Strong rendering, algorithms, and performance optimization skills.
• Understanding of ADAS features such as ACC and LKA and their visual representation in displays and HMI systems.
• Experience with sensor fusion, filtering techniques, CMake, Gradle, frameworks, or developer tools.
• Experience in software development, customer engagements, and automotive compliance standards.
• Fluent English and ability to collaborate with distributed teams, customers, and partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with AGL, AOSP, Android Automotive, or QNX.
• Automotive CAN bus experience and HD mapping knowledge.
• Experience with Yocto, Docker, Qt, or Flutter.
• Experience with Kotlin, Shell Script, JavaScript, or Python.
