Electro-Mechanical Technician

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed-air, and boiler systems.
• Maintain industrial washers, dryers, ironers, conveyors, boilers, compressors, pumps, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, and control panels.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, identify root causes, and recommend reliability improvements.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and equipment history in CMMS.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, renovations, expansions, commissioning, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams while supporting technician training and safety inspections.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including AC/DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, control panels, and 480V three-phase systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and reading ladder logic, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed-air, and boiler systems; CMMS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or trade certification in electro-mechanical technology, industrial maintenance, industrial electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
