Strategy Lead - BESS & RES F/M/X (Energy Markets)

Location: Brussels, Belgium, with the possibility to be based in Amsterdam or Paris; hybrid model with 2 days remote per week.

Salary: €4,600–€7,000 gross per month.

What you will do

• Develop the BESS and RES product vision based on market needs, trends, customer behavior, technology, competition, and regulation.
• Track product performance and market fit while continuously improving existing and future offerings.
• Support market growth by enabling sales teams, shaping go-to-market strategies, and supporting complex commercial deals.
• Work with technology and product teams to translate business needs into valuable features and support service go-live and operational handover.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and business partners across hirify.global’s European markets.
• Mentor sales, portfolio management, and analyst teams and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent English and fluent French or Dutch required; trilingual ability is a strong plus.
• Expertise in European energy markets, including long-term and short-term market design and operational implications.
• Knowledge of and network in the European BESS and RES ecosystem.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, negotiation, strategic vision, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring teams and driving measurable commercial and product outcomes.
