Accounts Payable Clerk (Aerospace)

Base salary: $25–$30 per hour, plus company equity

What you will do

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, including verification, coding, three-way matching, and approval routing.
• Assist with payment runs through checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Maintain vendor master data and support W-9 and 1099 tax compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, accruals, AP aging reports, and management reporting.
• Improve AP processes, support automation and system enhancements, and provide documentation for audits.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience with expertise in AP processes and three-way matching.
• Experience with ERP and AP software such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Bill.com, or Ramp.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, time-management, communication, and data-entry skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations, including 1099 reporting, is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export-control license.
