Zone Manufacturing Engineer (N7)

Location: San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosí, Mexico; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing process development for an assigned production zone, including process design, equipment and tooling selection, integration, and ramp-up.
• Own program launches and production changes by defining tooling, layouts, material flow, conveyance, automation, and other manufacturing requirements.
• Manage tooling, equipment, and technology projects from concept through design, build, validation, and launch, including supplier oversight.
• Analyze and optimize material flow while supporting advanced process and technology development.
• Drive launch readiness and issue resolution through plant build events, Zone Board reviews, and cross-functional integration forums.
• Ensure process compliance, quality, safety, budget alignment, training readiness, and spare-parts and design readiness.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to solve complex problems and drive issues to resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Flexibility to work changing hours, including weekends, holidays, and off-shifts, with up to 75% travel during launches.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
