Customer Success Manager (Fitness & Wellbeing)

Location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia; hybrid and flexible model with 1–2 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home. The role supports customers nationally and may require travel for onsite service. Applicants must reside in Australia and be legally authorised to work there.

12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with potential to become permanent.

What you will do

• Manage existing customer accounts and respond to customer queries efficiently and courteously.
• Conduct proactive account management calls and onsite visits to improve the value customers receive from payments and software.
• Demonstrate products, provide training, and recommend improvements to customers’ business practices.
• Create and analyse monthly reports for internal and external use.
• Manage renewals, contract negotiations, resigning clients, upselling, and software MRR growth.
• Work with the Growth Account Manager on Clubware-to-Xplor Gym migration opportunities, including demos and deep dives.

Requirements

• Entry-level account management experience or 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience as a Club Manager or running a gym or fitness club is preferred.
• Familiarity with Direct Debit payments and club management systems.
• Target-driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable making customer calls.
• High computer literacy, including knowledge of Excel and Salesforce.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Australia and reside within Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Debitsuccess, Clubware, or similar systems.
• Experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry.
