Senior Associate, Compliance Assurance & Testing (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; New York, NY; or San Francisco, CA, USA. The in-office policy requires four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office; a fully remote program is also available depending on eligibility and location.

Base salary: $101,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end compliance testing, including scoping reviews, gathering documentation, performing testing, and reporting results to senior management.
• Identify solutions to complex findings and follow up to confirm successful remediation.
• Partner with internal teams and issuing bank legal and compliance teams on testing and oversight.
• Design and build automated internal compliance monitoring and testing to identify trends, issues, and risk indicators.
• Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and assess their impact on products and services.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience, including regulatory compliance testing in financial services, risk consulting, or fintech.
• Knowledge of consumer financial protection, banking, payment networks, money transmission, and consumer lending regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities while balancing stakeholder interests.
• Analytical skills; SQL or data visualization experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work under the applicable U.S. office or remote-work arrangement.
