Senior Business Analyst (Banking/Insurance)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Own requirements as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Owner throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate business needs into BRDs, SRS documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, UI/UX specialists, QA, and other teams to deliver end-to-end banking and insurance solutions.
• Analyze APIs, middleware, internal systems, and third-party integrations, including requirement changes and their impact on scope, timelines, and solution design.
• Support UAT, issue clarification, production deployment, post-release activities, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Project Owner, or in a similar IT/software role.
• Strong experience in the banking and/or insurance domain.
• Experience owning requirements and project delivery in a BA and Project Owner capacity.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, APIs, system integration, and enterprise applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English; experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Draw.io, Visio, or Miro.
