Research Analyst - BCG Vantage (AI Research)

Location: Vietnam; generally expected to work from a BCG office or in person with clients around 50% of the time, depending on business needs and local policies.

What you will do

• Manage research requests focused primarily on industries and topics in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
• Conduct secondary research across industries, companies, markets, competitors, macroeconomics, commodities, and trade.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, summarize information, identify patterns, and generate initial hypotheses.
• Validate AI-generated outputs against authoritative and credible sources and maintain responsible AI practices.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, opportunities, and business implications.
• Prepare research reports, presentations, and executive summaries while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of relevant work experience, including specialization in Vietnam markets.
• Strong secondary research, analytical, fact-checking, and source-validation skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to write effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated content.
• Experience synthesizing complex information into concise business insights and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and Vietnamese as a mother tongue are required.
