Location: Boston, MA, United States (Hybrid)
Salary: $165,000–$185,000 annual base pay

What you will do
- Own target architectures, technical roadmaps, solution designs, and delivery priorities for assigned products.
- Design end-to-end cloud applications spanning user interfaces, services, APIs, workflows, integrations, data, infrastructure, and operations.
- Define reusable architecture patterns, engineering standards, modular domain-aligned services, and bounded contexts.
- Guide microservices, serverless, asynchronous, and event-driven solutions using AWS managed services.
- Establish secure and scalable API strategies for internal services, customer integrations, and third-party platforms.
- Lead architecture reviews and proofs of concept, influence delivery and operational practices, and coach engineers and technical leads.
Requirements
- Significant software engineering experience with recent architecture or technical leadership responsibility in AWS-based product environments.
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-native SaaS platforms, multi-tenant applications, or complex enterprise software.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript, and Angular or React.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, serverless computing, and API design.
- Practical experience with AWS services, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of secure software design, automated delivery, testing, monitoring, tracing, production support, and clear communication of architectural trade-offs.
