Architect, Cloud

Location: Addison, Texas, United States; hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office and remote work two days per week.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead project-based teams as the primary cloud architect and technical lead.
• Scope and estimate work streams and design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Deliver cloud-native development, platform engineering, data ingestion, migration, adoption, and cloud strategy projects.
• Serve as a technical expert in client communications and advise customers on business and technology decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop consultants and engineers.
• Travel as required for consulting projects, typically averaging 10%–30% annually, with some projects requiring up to 80% travel for a period.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering cloud enterprise solutions across multiple domains.
• Experience leading teams that develop complex, high-volume, mission-critical enterprise solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud solution architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Technical experience with cloud-native tooling, platform engineering, data engineering, security engineering, FinOps, or cloud migration.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer engagement, and organizational problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience across multiple major cloud service providers.
• Experience with technologies such as Lambda, EC2, S3, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, GKE, Terraform, GitHub Actions, BigQuery, IAM, CloudHealth, or migration services.
