Project Manager Manufacturing

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; travel up to 50% throughout North America, including Mexico manufacturing launch activities. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end launch of a new Mexico manufacturing facility serving the DFW site.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, governance, KPIs, readiness gates, and executive communication.
• Coordinate facility infrastructure, utilities, safety systems, permits, equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and production ramp-up.
• Drive organizational readiness through staffing, training, certifications, quality systems, audits, risk assessments, and safety programs.
• Establish supplier qualification, sourcing transitions, PPAP/FAI activities, inbound material readiness, and cross-border logistics.
• Implement the operating model between Mexico and DFW, including material flow, production planning, ERP/SAP readiness, engineering change control, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing launches, facility startups, industrialization projects, or operations-focused project management initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, facility readiness, equipment commissioning, and production ramp-up.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners through complex projects and aggressive timelines.
• Knowledge of launch governance, readiness gates, KPIs, risk management, quality systems, supplier qualification, PFMEA, control plans, audits, and CAPA.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required, along with experience supporting Mexico manufacturing operations and working across cultures and time zones.
