Hospital Privileging Coordinator (Healthcare)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; flexible schedules include work-from-home options.

Salary: $49,920–$72,592 annually, depending on work location, knowledge, position level, and experience.

What you will do

• Arrange hospital privileges and credentialing for healthcare providers according to medical staff rules, regulations, and bylaws.
• Collect and verify education, employment, references, and other facility-required documentation.
• Coordinate with client representatives, provider representatives, and providers to complete applications.
• Track applications and complete credentialing requirements for provider worksites.
• Arrange medical services, background checks, and fingerprinting according to facility requirements.
• Communicate application status and outcomes to sales staff while supporting credentialing managers and specialists.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in administration and/or customer service.
• Experience in healthcare or staffing and working knowledge of healthcare terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and web-based applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and work independently.
• Ability to work in the United States market, with the role associated with Salt Lake City, Utah.
