TL;DR

Location: Field-based South Atlantic territory covering Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina; permanent residence in the listed territory within reasonable proximity to a major airport required. Up to 50% travel and up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers.

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding requirements, and payer procedures.
  • Provide field-based reimbursement and access support, resolving patient access and affordability issues.
  • Build trusted relationships across assigned oncology accounts and serve as the local reimbursement subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with sales, key account management, managed care, medical, marketing, and patient engagement teams.
  • Manage territory routing, logistics, account planning, and market access insights.
  • Support pharmacy and medical benefit pathways, including buy-and-bill, assignment of benefits, hub services, prior authorization, coding, and appeals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, revenue cycle, or provider-office settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, payer policies, and appeals.
  • Experience with patient support HUB services and the ability to collaborate and influence across a matrix organization.
  • Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and ability to maintain up to 50% travel.
  • Permanent residence in Tennessee, North Carolina, or South Carolina within reasonable proximity to a major airport is required.

Nice to have

  • Oncology disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in applying emerging technologies, including AI.
