What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics in the assigned territory.
  • Provide clinical product information and support while achieving sales quotas.
  • Analyze territories, prospect for new business, and develop account strategies with the District Manager.
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and influence decision-makers through targeted, compliant sales messaging.
  • Understand account healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement, managed care, specialty pharmacies, and treatment protocols.
  • Complete required training, sales meetings, compliance activities, expense reporting, and call reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience.
  • At least two years of direct pharmaceutical or biologic/biotech sales experience with documented results, or relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience with hospital and large-account sales, complex reimbursement, and managed care dynamics.
  • Strong relationship-building, decision-maker identification, achievement motivation, and virtual customer engagement skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary, including overnight and weekend travel.

Nice to have

  • Hematology or rare disease specialty sales experience.
  • Previous product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
  • Multiple myeloma experience.
