TL;DR
Senior Program Manager (DoD Acquisition): Managing acquisition programs for Air Force weapon systems and DCGS with an accent on cost, schedule, performance, risk, and lifecycle management. Focus on developing acquisition documentation, coordinating milestone reviews, supporting program execution, and integrating requirements, budgets, cybersecurity, and program protection activities.

Location: Warner Robins, Georgia, United States. On-site at Robins AFB.

What you will do

  • Manage acquisition programs supporting DoD weapon systems and DCGS, balancing cost, schedule, performance, organizational goals, financial objectives, and risk.
  • Develop and coordinate acquisition strategies, program baselines, integrated master plans and schedules, cybersecurity strategies, program protection plans, lifecycle cost management documents, and risk management plans.
  • Support acquisition planning, execution, cost estimates, scope changes, purchase requests, budgets, program forecasts, and execution tracking.
  • Prepare for and support program reviews, requirements and design reviews, configuration control boards, safety groups, production meetings, test planning groups, and technical conferences.
  • Create agendas, briefing materials, meeting minutes, milestone briefings, studies, analyses, and decision documentation.
  • Use the CCaRS system to define and coordinate requirements, formulate budgets, forecast execution, track program performance, and reconcile execution data.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in DoD acquisition; or bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in DoD acquisition; or 15 years of directly related experience with applicable certifications, including 8 years in DoD acquisition.
  • Experience supporting product and system lifecycle management within Defense Acquisition System processes, including UCA, MTA, MCA, software acquisition, or acquisition of services pathways.
  • Experience developing pre- and post-award documentation, milestone plans, schedules, briefings, staff coordination materials, and decision documentation.
  • DAU CACQ 010 Foundational Acquisition Intelligence Credential, any-level DAWIA APDP qualification, or an accredited degree or certificate in lifecycle management, product lifecycle management, or a related field.
