Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote; travel may be required for meetings, training, presentations, or stakeholder briefings. The role supports a large US Federal Government client and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a VA background investigation, suitability determination, and system access.

What you will do

• Lead contract performance, personnel, schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, and technical execution.
• Coordinate hirify.global, government stakeholders, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Translate customer requirements and priorities into actionable work.
• Oversee IT and cloud security architecture, engineering, development, and implementation.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and performance reports.
• Monitor quality and compliance, and identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of information security experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity and cloud security.
• Experience supporting a large government agency comparable in size and scope to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
• Experience managing complex cybersecurity, cloud, or IT programs in federal government environments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams, schedules, deliverables, risks, and customer requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information security, information assurance, information resource management, or a related field, unless substituted by qualifying certifications or experience.
• Certification in PMP, IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III; the required VA suitability determination and system access must be obtainable and maintainable.

Nice to have

• PMP certification when another qualifying certification satisfies the minimum requirement.
• VA or federal program management experience.
• Experience managing large cybersecurity programs and subcontractor teams.
