Senior Analyst - Purchasing

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; this position is located in Plano, TX. Candidates must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies and lead RFQs and RFPs through supplier evaluation, negotiation, approval, and award recommendations.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance issues, pricing disputes, contractual compliance, onboarding, and supplier development.
• Lead pricing reviews, rate adjustments, cost modeling, benchmarking, and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate statements of work, pricing exhibits, amendments, service agreements, change controls, and contract execution.
• Lead cross-functional commercial projects with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Risk Management, Real Estate, Asset Management, and suppliers.
• Support warehouse and facility initiatives, including lease renewals, facility transitions, start-up costs, capital investments, business cases, and executive presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, supplier management, contract administration, commercial operations, or financial analysis.
• Experience independently managing commercial processes, developing cost models, analyzing supplier pricing, negotiating business terms, and driving implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, project management, stakeholder influence, executive communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP functions, macros, and queries; experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
• Experience with data analytics platforms and AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with third-party labor providers, warehouse operations, labor-intensive service contracts, logistics pricing, or supplier pricing reviews.
• Knowledge of warehouse staffing models, productivity standards, unit-cost methodologies, and labor-market benchmarking.
• Experience with invoice controls, commercial audits, change management, facility transitions, capital investments, or operational start-ups.
• Automotive, service-parts, warehousing, packaging, or distribution industry experience.
• Formal or cross-functional leadership experience, hirify.global Business Practice Panel completion, or participation in hirify.global cross-functional teams.
