C# Developer, I&E Data Compliance

Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico; onsite role

What you will do

• Work with end users to gather requirements and develop solutions for foreign trade and customs operations.
• Design, implement, maintain, and support customs software, internal applications, databases, and reports.
• Implement solutions responding to government changes and Mexico customs requirements.
• Develop, debug, test, and optimize C# and JavaScript/React code.
• Document implemented solutions, create user instructions, and review code before deployment.
• Support end users, manage supplier tickets, and resolve technical issues across multiple facilities in Mexico.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, preferably.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development.
• Intermediate English required.
• Expertise in C#, with experience in JavaScript, React, SQL databases, MS Visual Basic, software testing, and test-driven development.
• Strong code quality, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with personnel located at multiple facilities in Mexico and solve problems with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with MS Office, including Access and Excel.
• Experience with Annex 24 software such as ZOE, Vastera, or Prisma.
• Knowledge of customs processes, Datastage, and trade programs.
