TL;DR
Senior Engineer (Amazon Connect/AI): Building enterprise contact center transformations with an accent on Amazon Connect platform engineering, conversational AI, and serverless full-stack development. Focus on orchestrating AI agents, migrating live contact centers, optimizing production systems, and delivering observable, secure infrastructure at enterprise scale.
Location: Remote from Mexico; current legal authorization to work in Mexico is required

What you will do
- Build enterprise contact center solutions using Amazon Connect, AI agents, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q in Connect, and Claude.
- Develop contact flows, routing, Cases and Tasks solutions, Contact Lens configurations, analytics data lakes, and operational dashboards.
- Create serverless, event-driven backends and custom agent workspace experiences integrating CRM and third-party systems.
- Develop AWS CDK infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, monitoring, alerting, and secure production rollouts.
- Support contact center migrations from Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, Oracle, and Salesforce to Amazon Connect.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams, lead technical sessions, review code, mentor engineers, and contribute reusable practice assets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including 2+ years with Amazon Connect or comparable enterprise CCaaS platforms.
- Strong experience with Amazon Connect contact flows, routing, Cases and Tasks, Contact Lens, Customer Profiles, Streams API, and analytics.
- Production experience with conversational and generative AI, Amazon Lex, Amazon Bedrock, Q in Connect, prompt engineering, and tool calling.
- Strong TypeScript, Node.js, and Python skills, with production React experience and AWS serverless expertise.
- Experience with AWS CDK or Terraform, multi-account deployments, testing, observability, incident debugging, and secure infrastructure.
- Current legal authorization to work in Mexico is required; visa and work permit sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- AWS certifications relevant to solutions architecture, development, machine learning, or Amazon Connect.
- Contact center migration, regulated-industry, workforce management, quality management, or outbound compliance experience.
- Experience with AI observability, accessibility engineering, consulting, or client delivery.
