Software Engineer (PHP/Vue.js)

Builds credit-based financial products for customers in emerging markets using proprietary technology, data, web applications, backend services, and partner API integrations.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, debug, and deploy software features and services from product specifications.
• Develop PHP backend services and Vue.js, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS interfaces.
• Manage relational SQL databases and implement schema changes using DDL and DML operations.
• Build real-time partner APIs and tools supporting international engineering teams and partners.
• Own features across the full lifecycle, including requirements changes, implementation, follow-up work, and bug fixes.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to interviews, participate in code reviews, pair programming, TDD, and Agile development.

Requirements

• Experience with financial technology services.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
• Professional experience with PHP, Vue.js, MySQL, AWS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive customer data responsibly and collaborate with global engineering teams.
