People Services Specialist

Location: Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite at the Deerfield, Illinois headquarters and the remainder remote

Base salary: $40,000–$60,500 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for associates and HR through AskHR and other service channels, researching inquiries and resolving cases.
• Support the associate lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, employee changes, offboarding, and related HR operations.
• Process hiring, job changes, organizational updates, and termination transactions in Workday and other HR systems.
• Guide associates and managers on HR systems, self-service tools, and HR resources.
• Support benefits, tuition reimbursement, employee referrals, relocation, performance management, engagement surveys, compliance, audits, records, and I-9 requirements.
• Create knowledge articles and process documentation, maintain reporting and dashboards, and participate in automation, testing, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services, HR Operations, Recruiting, HR Technology, or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Customer service experience with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and cloud-based file-sharing platforms.
• Ability to manage confidential information, prioritize work, manage competing deadlines, and meet service level expectations.
• Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Deerfield, Illinois.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, recruitment ATSs, time and attendance systems, or similar HR technology.
• Experience with ticketing or case management systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Workday Help.
• Experience in HR operations, onboarding, shared services, case management, compliance, reporting, or HR service delivery.
• Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
