QA Technician (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States

Salary: $21.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Perform visual, incoming, in-process, and final inspections of optical components and finished products.
• Use calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, microscopes, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Document defects and inspection results while maintaining traceable quality records.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and maintain a controlled work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record maintenance.
• 1+ year of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production is preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and regulated or quality-focused environments is preferred.
• This position involves information subject to ITAR, and visa sponsorship is not available.
