Senior Developer Advocate (AI Agents)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include New York, NY and San Francisco, CA. Travel for offsites, team meetings, customer, and industry events is required as needed.

Annual base salary: $133,000–$186,000 USD, plus benefits, equity, and applicable incentive programs.

What you will do

• Build hands-on, code-first demos and short-form videos showing how to secure AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities with hirify.global.
• Own and grow the developer presence on Reddit, YouTube, and X through daily posts, technical discussions, and community engagement.
• Speak at major developer conferences such as AWS re:Invent and KubeCon, extending conference presentations into reusable content.
• Shape the open source strategy for SDKs, integrations, MCP servers, and related tools.
• Create blog posts, tutorials, and reference code that developers can copy, fork, and ship.
• Build an ongoing developer community based on recurring conversations, contributions, and trust.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software or platform engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions engineering.
• Ability to write production-quality code for demos and technical content.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and working with MCP.
• Existing technical presence and audience on X, YouTube, or Reddit.
• Experience producing demo videos and short-form technical content, growing developer communities, and contributing to or maintaining open source projects.
• Experience speaking at major developer conferences and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity, authentication, DevSecOps, or security-conscious developer communities.
• Contributions to or maintenance of MCP servers, agent frameworks, or related open source tooling.
