Tool Equipment Install Engineer (Semiconductor)

Annual salary range: $52,000–$200,000 USD

What you will do

• Coordinate equipment, tools, kits, orders, purchase orders, funding, and deliveries against tool-install schedules.
• Lead planning and coordination across factory stakeholders, suppliers, trade contractors, EMS teams, and engineering partners.
• Manage equipment configuration, part-number genealogy, systems accuracy, and right-first-time kit delivery.
• Forecast equipment workload and funding requirements and support financial planning and reporting cycles.
• Drive troubleshooting and resolution of installation, facility, quality, scheduling, commercial, and capacity constraints.
• Maintain hirify.global safety, housekeeping, quality, standard operating procedure, and project execution standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
• Leadership, communication, planning, decision-making, teamwork, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work with executive management and influence stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
• This position is onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, and is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment installation.
• Cross-functional work with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams.
• Configuration management, equipment troubleshooting, and manufacturing process control experience.
• Knowledge of environmental health and safety guidelines for tool installation and operation.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation and executing project management tasks.
