Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States — on-site. Travel is required 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year.

What you will do

• Guide semiconductor products and processes from initial concept through final qualification.
• Act as the liaison between customers and the business unit, translating customer issues into applicable solutions.
• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Work with customers, R&D, engineering, and product teams across deposition, etch, anneal, and implant technologies.

Requirements

• On-site work in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.
• At least 7 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry.
• Knowledge of at least three processes across one or more semiconductor technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with customer support, process engineering, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Availability for travel approximately 20% of the time.
