Controlling Manager – MedTech Brazil

Location: São Paulo, Brazil, with a 3x2 office schedule. Travel is not required.

What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly accounting close activities under local and corporate accounting standards.
• Own financial compliance and coordinate internal and external audits, including Health Care Compliance reviews.
• Execute and support the design, testing, and sustainability of SOX controls and risk-control matrices.
• Provide accounting and control expertise for forecasting, budgeting, and business review routines.
• Identify process risks, drive corrective actions, and use analytics, automation, and AI to improve controllership routines.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience in Controllership, Accounting, or Audit, including people leadership.
• Experience with accounting close, internal controls, and audit support in a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in SAP and exposure to Power BI, automation platforms, or AI applications.
• Strong knowledge of BRGAAP, USGAAP, and IFRS.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with regional and global teams and auditors.

Nice to have

• CRC certification, postgraduate studies, or an MBA.
• Experience with responsible and ethical AI practices and effective prompt generation.
