Process Engineer (PCB Manufacturing)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $62,337–$103,895 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.

What you will do

• Plan, maintain, analyze, and improve specialty printed circuit board manufacturing processes, production activities, and controlled documentation.
• Qualify new processes internally and externally and evaluate equipment through design of experiments and capability testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop timely solutions for day-to-day production and mechanical issues.
• Program and troubleshoot equipment software while providing technical and analytical support to customers and suppliers.
• Recommend procedural changes, communicate safety concerns, and manage hazardous waste in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures.
• Work toward independently managing projects and developing customer-interface skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and process control, with root cause analysis skills.
• 0–5 years of experience as a Process Engineer or 7+ years of PCB fabrication or related engineering experience.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
• Ability to work up to 9 hours per day, five days per week, including weekends when needed, and meet physical requirements including standing, walking, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
