Location: Pullman, Washington, United States
Salary: $97,700–$144,400 annually for the Welding Process Engineer level. Associate and Lead level ranges may also apply.

What you will do
- Provide welding engineering support to design, fabrication, and support teams.
- Specify, develop, implement, and sustain welding and related manufacturing processes.
- Improve welding quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity in line with strategic objectives.
- Apply root-cause analysis to solve process and manufacturing problems.
- Evaluate new welding equipment and processes, interpret results, and provide recommendations to management.
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting new manufacturing initiatives and world-class manufacturing facilities.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of welding metallurgy and GTAW and GMAW processes.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and learn new skills.
- Physical requirements include frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering up to 40 pounds, sitting or standing for at least 8 hours, correctable vision of 20/30 or better, and color differentiation.
Nice to have
- Experience developing and supporting welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with standards and specifications, especially military or aerospace specifications.
- Working knowledge of NDT processes.
- Hands-on welding and fabrication experience.
