Carpenter/Cabinet Builder (Trade Show & Events)

What you will do

• Build custom exhibit components such as wall panels, cabinets, counters, and display fixtures.
• Fabricate templates, jigs, fixtures, and shipping crates for efficient and safe exhibit production.
• Prepare, apply, and finish veneers, laminates, and solid surface materials.
• Cut, trim, sand, assemble, and install components with precision.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely while maintaining an organized shop.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders; maintain production records and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of woodworking, cabinetry, or finish carpentry experience preferred.
• Strong measuring and mathematical skills with a commitment to precision.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Addison, Illinois.
