Superintendent-Cleveland (Construction)

Location: Cleveland, United States; requires driving among designated communities during daytime and nighttime.

What you will do

• Manage and complete the 13 milestones of construction specified in JDE.
• Oversee all phases of new home construction and interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents.
• Manage budgets and control cost overruns.
• Coordinate with customers, management, and construction personnel while supporting customer satisfaction.
• Use DRH Construction applications on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
• Work across construction sites in varied weather, terrain, noise, and safety conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to four years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies.
• Knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations, building codes, and new home construction.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working around construction hazards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
• Experience working effectively in high-pressure, high-production environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
