TL;DR
Senior Specialist Analytical Capabilities (Pharmacovigilance): Developing dashboards, reports, and visualization solutions for pharmacovigilance quality and compliance with an accent on Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and data lineage. Focus on troubleshooting complex issues across data pipelines and reporting layers, improving metrics delivery, and supporting validated analytical environments.

Location: Hybrid role based in Horsham, Pennsylvania; Raritan, New Jersey; or Titusville, New Jersey, United States. Three days onsite and two days remote.

Salary: $94,000–$151,800 base pay per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical solutions for pharmacovigilance quality and compliance monitoring.
  • Improve the efficiency and reliability of metrics generation and support routine metrics delivery.
  • Provide training and user support for visualization tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, SLAs, metric definitions, training materials, and knowledge resources.
  • Investigate complex reporting issues across source systems, data pipelines, warehouses, semantic models, and visualization layers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Medical Safety Quality members, solution owners, and technology partners on requirements, prioritization, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, scientific, technology, business, or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data modeling, data analysis, or analytical solution development.
  • Hands-on experience with Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools for developing visualizations, dashboards, and complex reports.
  • Experience with SQL, relational data concepts, data lineage, and troubleshooting across source systems, transformation layers, data warehouses, and reporting applications.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work in the hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote at one of the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

  • Experience maintaining, enhancing, or reverse-engineering existing analytical applications and report portfolios.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile delivery practices, and controlled or validated environments.
  • Project coordination or technical workstream leadership experience.
