Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace Gas Turbines)

What you will do

• Define and document manufacturing processes for new products and processes transferred in-house.
• Support new-build, repair, and overhaul operations for aeroderivative gas turbines and power turbines.
• Develop machining and manufacturing solutions involving titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, milling, turning, blade-tip grinding, probing, and functional dimensioning.
• Use NX and other CAD/CAM tools for modeling, assembly, manufacturing, post-processing, and machine simulation.
• Prepare technical solutions, tooling, qualifications, first-article inspections, engineering changes, and change-control documentation.
• Lead or support improvements focused on quality, turnaround time, cost reduction, EHS investigations, and PLM process migration.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and mandatory OIQ membership.
• At least 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Knowledge of gas turbines or industrial equipment, project management, and assembly or manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to interpret component definition drawings and understand engine assembly design intent.
• French is required for reading, speaking, writing, comprehension, and verbal communication; basic English is required for engineering documentation.
• Ability to lead meetings, communicate with technical and management stakeholders, follow procedures, and work in a unionized environment.
