Senior Systems Programmer Analyst (Java)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States; remote work permitted 2 days per week

Salary: $133,806–$186,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses and profit-sharing

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain backend compliance systems, FIRCOSOFT systems, and sanctions applications.
• Build high-performance, robust, and scalable applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Promote standardized backend processing architecture and business object models across systems.
• Perform data analysis and provide hands-on SQL development for complex deliverables.
• Ensure data integrity across business applications, data marts, and business intelligence applications.
• Document technical specifications, architecture, functional flows, data models, and data workflows while contributing to technology roadmaps and project governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• At least 5 years of experience with FIRCOSOFT Trust, Screen and Keep, Filter, and Reports, plus compliance, sanctions, and KYC systems.
• Experience with Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, JMS, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, EJB, IBM WebSphere, IBM BAW, Tomcat, Oracle, and SQL.
• Experience with Autosys, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, Rational Team Concert, Jenkins, Sonar, Git, Bitbucket, Fisheye, Crucible, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Role location is Jersey City, NJ, with regular office presence and remote work permitted 2 days per week.
