Senior Digital Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid role based at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; Tuesday through Thursday in-office and Monday and Friday remote

Salary: $115,750.00–$147,250.00 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-scale fulfillment solutions using MACH architecture, React Native, and IBM Sterling Order Management.
• Integrate order management and ecommerce platforms with scalable microservices.
• Build integrations and data feeds for third-party providers and internal systems.
• Architect and deliver Java/J2EE applications and cloud-based services.
• Deliver code continuously in an onshore-offshore model while meeting aggressive timelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science.
• 8+ years of industry experience delivering scalable, distributed platforms.
• 5+ years of experience implementing order management and omnichannel fulfillment processes.
• 4+ years of experience with Java, Spring Batch, PL/SQL, and microservices.
• Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management, WebSphere Commerce Suite, IBM DB2, Redis, Kafka, MQ, Oracle, JMS, Kubernetes, Git or SVN, and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data structures, secure scalable software, Agile development, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication.
