Maintenance Engineer (Facilities)

Location: On-site in Dallas, TX, with travel to buildings within the metropolitan area

What you will do

• Perform emergency, preventive, and corrective maintenance in medical office buildings.
• Maintain building automation, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, generator, transfer switch, and life safety systems.
• Complete work orders, repair records, and assigned building upkeep duties.
• Travel to buildings within a one-hour metropolitan area and participate in on-call coverage approximately every five weeks.
• Use a work order system, email, Microsoft Office, a personal computer, and a smartphone.

Requirements

• At least five years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Thorough understanding of building automation systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and demonstrate strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, lift 50 pounds, and climb ladders.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and the ability to use computer and smartphone-based work order systems.
