Senior Engineer, MES and Manufacturing Systems

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Lead MES implementation, administration, configuration, customization, and ongoing support for the Hillsboro plant.
• Analyze manufacturing systems, maintain master data and business processes, and troubleshoot data, analytics, and reporting issues.
• Manage procedures, user guides, customized reports, access requests, user accounts, barcode and printer systems, and validated system operations.
• Coordinate infrastructure support and upgrades for lab systems with management and IT staff.
• Develop data exchanges between MES and hirify.global business systems, including customization of code and parsing scripts.
• Provide MES training and lead future software enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering-related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of MES-related experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 years with a master's degree.
• Demonstrated experience implementing, enhancing, or administering MES or advanced manufacturing systems.
• Ability to design procedures and applications, develop project plans, and coordinate cross-functional execution with limited supervision.
• Experience with JMP, SQL, Power BI, Excel, and SAP.
• Strong communication, organization, systems-thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven skills.
