Process Integration and Yield Technician (ICE)

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. The role requires regular cleanroom presence, protective clothing and equipment, extended standing or sitting, and the ability to lift 11–25 lbs. Work follows a compressed Shift 8 schedule with three consecutive 12-hour day/night shifts and a four-day/night week every other week.

Salary: $52,000–$200,000 annual salary range for US roles; listed as an hourly role.

What you will do

• Manage held-lot disposition and material movement, including authorized releases, splits, merges, scraps, and conversions.
• Maintain manufacturing instructions, lot plans, routes, operations, attributes, special instructions, and slot maps.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing systems, automation, carrier identification, transfer, shipping, and quantity discrepancy issues.
• Respond to factory escalations and process excursions, contain material outside approved conditions, and provide on-call support.
• Perform visual and microscope inspections, defect inking, disposition activities, and failure-analysis material coordination.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data using SQL, iTech, and Microsoft applications while coordinating daily factory support and engineering experiments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of directly related experience; or an associate degree and 6 years of experience; or high school/GED or technical certification with qualifying hands-on experience.
• Relevant experience may include metrology, defect metrology, failure analysis, fault isolation, process or electrical characterization, chemical composition analysis, electronics, mechanics, chemistry, or materials science.
• Ability to work safely in a cleanroom while wearing required protective equipment and spending most of the shift standing or sitting.
• Strong critical-thinking, prioritization, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and technical-direction skills.

• The position is a two-year contract with potential conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Nice to have

• Coding experience with SQL and Bi4 Reports.
• Data analysis experience with JMP and GAJT.
• Knowledge of HBI, Die Prep, WLA, or TSVr processes.
• Experience working in ambiguous, highly dynamic environments.
