Head of Policy & National Security (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, Washington, D.C., or London, UK

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Own revenue growth, business strategy, pipeline, forecast, and target-agency planning for the Policy & National Security vertical.
• Lead a field sales organization pursuing complex, large-scale government opportunities and long-term agency programs.
• Build senior relationships across government agencies and advise stakeholders on technology transformation.
• Develop partnerships with systems integrators, prime contractors, and teaming partners to shape and win programs.
• Coordinate with Global Public Sector, Government Affairs, Capture, Product, Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership.
• Feed budget cycles, policy changes, competitive intelligence, and agency needs into product, pricing, strategy, and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Significant public-sector sales and revenue-growth leadership experience, including pipeline and team growth.
• Deep understanding of government procurement, contracting mechanisms, and deal strategy.
• Established government and industry network with credibility among senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex initiatives through influence and building new business capabilities.
• Ability to communicate the value of complex software and engage senior decision-makers independently.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

• Fluency in trade, supply chains, geopolitics, and national-security use cases.
• Experience carrying complex, high-intellectual-content software into government.
• Strong patience and optimism for long government procurement cycles.
