Pricing Analyst, Revenue Protection

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for client requests to reduce or waive fees related to service complaints, billing disputes, or dissatisfaction.
• Monitor client accounts and service histories to identify recurring service issues, unusual invoice changes, late-payment patterns, and potential concession requests.
• Review contracts, billing histories, and account records to investigate disputes and determine whether a concession is warranted.
• Partner with Client Success and Support to understand the underlying service issues behind complaints and flagged accounts.
• Prepare clear, documented recommendations for approval and maintain a case log of requests, accounts, outcomes, and recurring root causes.

Requirements

• Experience investigating disputes using contract and billing records and preparing documented cases for decision-makers.
• Strong written communication, with a focus on clarity and completeness.
• Even-keeled and diplomatic communication style when working with frustrated or unhappy clients.
• Strong Excel and tracker discipline, including maintaining logs of open and resolved cases.
• Curiosity and a structured approach to determining what actually happened.
• Prior billing, collections, customer support, account management, subscription, SaaS, commercial contract, or client-facing experience is helpful but not required.
